Millennium Art Festival

Michigan Ave and Lake St. Chicago


A variety of paintings, ceramics, jewelry, photography, and furniture are on show along a section of Lake Street in the Loop. Guests can browse the products, interact with artists, and make purchases during the course of the three-day event; no reservations are required, and walk-ins are welcome all weekend.




Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival

Sheffield Ave between Belmont Ave and School St, Sheffield & DePaul


This popular 36th annual street party will take place on Sheffield Avenue in the center of the Lakeview district. On the main stage, there will be outstanding local tribute bands, great food, libations (beer and wine), and artisans. There will also be an entertainment stage near Belmont with local music artists, DJs, and other entertainers.





Chicago Auto Show

McCormick Place, Museum Campus


The Chicago Auto Show, which began in 1901 and has been held more times than any other auto show on the continent, is the largest auto show in North America. The 2021 Chicago Auto Show will occupy almost 500,000 square feet of show space in McCormick Place's West Building, as well as 150,000 square feet of exhibitions, activations, and test drives along Indiana Avenue.

On the sands of North Avenue Beach, dance at the Chicago Sport and Social Club's annual Volleywood festival, which features one day of live music, food, and interactive experiences. Several DJs will provide eight hours of music for you to enjoy.








Bucktown Neighborhood & Garden Walk

Various locations throughout Chicago


Take a self-guided tour of roughly 100 plots throughout the neighborhood, displaying the efforts of homeowners with green thumbs. You can get a plan online and walk around Bucktown, stopping at gardens along the way—some will even have live music and visual artists making work all day. Learn about everything that makes Bucktown great. 





Tacos y Tamales Festival


Fri, July 16, 2021 - Sun, July 18, 2021

16th St and Peoria St, Lower West Side


Guests are encouraged to try a variety of tacos and tamales cooked by local restaurants. Between eats, cruise vendor stalls, enjoy a cold one inside the Modelo beer garden, and dance to live Latin music, RICO, Sonora Dinamita, Edward Carpio, Enrique Calderon, and others will perform.
