After last year's low-key Fourth of July, many of the Chicago area's fireworks shows are back in 2021. This year, many of the region's festivals and events are returning to the skies over the holiday weekend.
Cases of coronavirus have decreased across the country, and the number of people who are fully vaccinated has also risen. This means that July 4th is also a great time to celebrate.
