🎵 Free Outdoor Concerts, July

The Millennium Park Summer Music Series runs every Monday and Thursday evening at 6:30 PM at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, completely free. Featuring a diverse lineup of R&B, house, jazz, pop, country, and world music all summer long.

The Grant Park Music Festival runs free classical concerts through August 15 at Millennium Park, a 90-year Chicago tradition featuring world-class orchestral performances in a stunning outdoor setting.

Chicago SummerDance runs citywide through July and August, free dance lessons and live music on an open-air dance floor at various neighborhood locations.

Candlelight Concerts take place in beautiful indoor venues bathed in candlelight. July shows include tributes to Taylor Swift, Adele, and TOOL, plus a Lord of the Rings-themed evening.

Concerts Under the Stars at AIRE Rooftop offer live music with stunning city views. July lineup includes Piano Men (Billy Joel & Elton John Tribute), Come Together (The Ultimate Beatles Tribute), and Yacht Rock Under the Stars.

Chicago Park District Summer Camps

The Chicago Park District offers camps across the entire city through late August, sports, arts and crafts, dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, and more. Many programs run 1–6 weeks and are very affordable.

YMCA of Metro Chicago Summer Camp

The YMCA runs day camps through August 31 across Chicago neighborhoods with arts and crafts, sports, games, and personal development programs. Family membership holders receive priority pricing.

Steve & Kate's Camp

Running through August 7 at 3500 N. Hoyne Ave., kids choose their own activities: designing, building, coding, baking, dancing, and more. Ages 4–12.

Camp Galileo
